The Trinamool Congress Today took a swipe at the BJP, woundring if it would now use CBI or ED to probe the allegations against BJP chief Amit Shah’s sons, just as it has been quick to use these agencies against other political parties.
” BJP ever so quick to use CBI/ED against other political parties. Why not now when its come to one of their own; son of their party president ? Media now need to be fearless”, Derek O’Brien, TMC Parliamentary party leader in Rajya Sabha, said in a statement.
The charge was rejected by the BJP and Shah’s son, Jay Amit Shah. who termed the story false, derogatory,and defamatory.
O’Brien’s statement came as several opposition parties demanded probe into claims in a media report that a company owned by BJP Chief Amit Shah’s son saw massive rise in its turnover after the BJP came to power in 2014.
