New Delhi: Nirav Modi may be arrested in London,documents sent to U.K administration, he may be arrested any time in London, he is the main accused of PNB scam, ED has sent necessary documents to the U.K administration for the arrest and the U.K Government has confirm it.
That after the confirmation of U.K administration that Nirav Modi is in London, the CBI has sent an extradition request to the Home Ministry, as soon as it is confirmed. Request ti bring back Nirav Modi will now be sent to the U.K through the Ministry of External Affairs.
Official had said that the CBI had requested the U.K officials to take Nirav Modi to custody in connection with the Red Corner Notice issued by Interpol against him. Notice was issued on the request of CBI.
It has came to know that Nirav Modi’s wifw is a U.S citizen, who left the country in the first week of Januarywith brother Nishal Modi to a Belgian citizen and Mama Mehul Choksi. All of them are accused in the PNB scam Case.
Interpol tells its 192 members of countries discussed issuing a red corner notice against a fugitive that they should be arrested or detained on his appearance here. After this, extradition or deportation may start.
