Chandigarh: The chandigarh police have arrested Vikas Barala son of BJP chief Subash Barala along with another person for allegedly stalking a senior state IAS officer’s daughter, Police Said on Saturday.
The victims, who was driving towards Panchkula town adjoining here, alleged that both men followed her in their TATA Safari Storm SUV from the sector 26 grain market area.
Deputy Superintendent of police, East, Satish Kumar said that the youth where arrested and booked under section 354-D I.P.C. for stalking a woman.
He confirm that one of the suspects was related to a senior BJP leader of Haryana. Both the accused are law student.
Further after few hours the police added some section after the statement of the victims recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C.
