Barely after 24 hours of the attack, security forces on Tuesday have surrounded three militants in Central Kashmir Badgam District. Although the identities of trapped militants are not yet confirmed, source said that Isamil, mastermind of Amarnath Yatra terror attack, could be among them.
Nearly 200 jawans of Jammu and Kashmir police Special operations (SOG) and two Rashtriya Rifles involved in an encounter broke out after security forces launched a cordon on search operation in redbug area of Badgam this evening. The operation was launched after forces received specific intelligence input about the presence of militants in the area.
