Pakistan Senator Questions Kulbhushan Verdict, Demands Evidence:

A Senator in Pakistan raised questions over the death sentenced given to Indian National Kulbhushan Jadhav by a Pakistan Military Court last week. The Senator Sherry Rehman, is unhappy that the Pakistan government, despite having Jadhav in custody for one years, is yet to provide the Senate with any evidence of his involvement in “subversive activities” that he has been accused of carrying out in Pakistan.

In a Senate debate that took place on 12 April, just two days after the death sentenced, Senior Senator Sherry Rahman who has also served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States between 2011-2013 question the death penalty given to Jadhav
