BJP MLA Sangeet Som make pressure on police not to arrest the accused says Investigating officer
A five year old girl namely Manvi is running from pillar to post and asking for Justice in Uttar Pradesh Meerut District. Her mother was a victim of dowry harassment for her in laws and husband and killed herself after the daily torture. Seema had filed a case against Sanjeev and her in laws in court but years later when nothing was done, she committed suicide on 29/04/2017.
Three days before she died, seema had gone to the police station demanding the arrest of her husband. The inspector reportedly told her in jest,” go commit suicide and then your husband might be arrested.
The sub inspector of Ganga Nagar police station investigating the case say that there is pressure on him not to arrest the accused by BJP MLA Sangeet Som. If they bring an order to arrest the accused from SSP then he surely do the need full.
IG Ramkumar however assured the family of taking appropriate action after police investigation. When the family got up to leave, IG gave the piggy bank back in Manvi;s hand.
